Re: Poem's anyone?
I hate this forum,
I think its cruel,
I think I'll ride off,
On a humpback mule,
The Mods are terrible,
The Admins are too,
This place is so sad,
That I'm turning blue,
The format is terrible,
It deserves no words of praise,
The leadership stinks,
They deserve no raise,
The faults are so obvious,
Its hard to ignore them,
Oh why did I ever think,
Of joining this forum,
I hate writing poetry,
But they forced me to,
So I made a criticizing poem,
Now I bid you adeiu,
I think its cruel,
I think I'll ride off,
On a humpback mule,

The Admins are too,

Re: Poem's anyone?
Hey Rodney, go out for sports or something.
Yo yo, right here.
I was trapped.
I was trapped by the invisible walls of my fate,
Tricked by the idea that I could not escape,
Chained up in a ghetto where my father died,
Fooled into thinking that I would never go out side,
Imprisoned by my friends who knew nothing but war,
Shackled to every thing that had gone on before.
I would always be here in this dead end life of mine,
My heart turned back by a city limit sign,
Yet...
and yet I now see a way out of my concrete jail,
A new way to soften a heart that's grown stale,
No longer cursed in this place for the wealth,
No longer fighting for man or my self.
I understand now what it takes to be real.
If you want to stand up, you have to learn how to kneel.
I surrender; my weapons are down at my feet,
Because we’ll never have freedom when there’s blood on the street.
Poet unknown.

Your poem is awful,
And you stink too,
Did you put on deoderant,
When your Mom asked you to,
Your Afro looks terrible,
You have no sence of humor,
Just go away to,
The country of Niger,
Fall away from the,
Midst of our atmosphere,
And stop posting,
We really don't want to hear,
I think that everyone,
Should ignore you,
You stink so much,
That I bid you adeiu,

You don't know anything,
Your face is atrocious,
Now go away,
And stop being percosious

Re: Poem's anyone?
I have loads of poems.. just not on this computer. Sometime soon, I'll post some of my poems.. most are about Richard Maxwell and Lucy Cunningham-Schultz, or very special friends of mine... I like them. It may be a few weeks... though.

Re: Poem's anyone?
I thank you all,
Yes I really do,
But yo Pops how could you think,
That I could ever take it from you?
Your a lousy poet and you know it,
You couldn't even make one strain,
You failed in English and in French,
So I beg you please refrain!

Re: Poem's anyone?
Writing poetry is my cudemetra,
As Eugene might say,
But I can beat him in wrestling,
Every Day,
Your all kind,
But I won't say too,
Because without brains like this,
You don't have a clue,
I'll beat you in Ping-Pong,
I'll beat you in spades,
You'll run from my wrath,
And will give me no praise,
However I'll battle on,
Until I'm the best,
And when you see what I've done,
You'll throw me a fest,
I'm the ruler of them all,
You will see soon enough,
Your puny and frail,
And you know that I'm buff,
And when I've done my time,
And your all too scared,
I'll kick you and punch you,
So you won't have an heir,
I am a legacy,
A figure in my time,
I'm the best of all the rest,
And you will follow my crime,
Its the way to go,
How do you think I got this good,
You will see my power,
And know that you should,
As Eugene might say,
But I can beat him in wrestling,
Every Day,
Your all kind,
But I won't say too,

You don't have a clue,

Re: Poem's anyone?
Rodney's a genius,
I hate to admit,
His poetry rymes
It's quite a hit
I know I am lacking
in this special art
But at least I know
I'm as good as Bart
The EP is awesome
I have to admit
Plain simple power
And all of them submit
I love being admin
But I wish for one thing
That Rodney would fess up
and stop being mean

Re: Poem's anyone?
Thats some good poetry,
I think I would say,
If you keep trying,
You'll get better every day,
Even though its good,
It doesn't compare,
With the master,
His poetry is very rare,
I think I would say,
If you keep trying,
You'll get better every day,

It doesn't compare,
With the master,

Re: Poem's anyone?
A random poem that has nothing to do with Rodney's genius.
Land of Imagination
Come and let us run away
To the land of our imagination.
Together we’ll go today,
And visit lands of our creation.
Through pixie isles of wonder
We will tiptoe softly and gaze in awe.
Past seas and waves of thunder,
Where we are guests and nature is law.
In bright fields so vast and wide
We will run together with cares no more.
Past a snow-capped mountainside,
Like birds of the air, so free we will soar.
In rainbow filled lands we’ve laid
We will dance and sing with joy so sublime.
But the colors start to fade,
And we know we cannot stay for all time.
From this world we will escape,
In the land of our imagination.
But before it’s taken shape,
We must leave the land of our creation.
By...*drum roll...* ME!
