What is your favorite book of the Bible?
My favorite would be Revelation. I find the prophecies and stuff fascinating! (although I don't begin to try to understand it all!)

Acts, Romans, 1 & 2 Peter, and Matthew... I just like the New Testament is all!

Same here, though I also love a lot of the Old Testament. The Bible is so wonderful!

I like Ruth and Esther. And I like Luke.
I know, weird choices, but I think that Luke tells the gospel the best. But Hey, to each his own.

I'm going to say Acts. Which caused quite a debate over on the ToO.

A verse.. like Acts 4:13 or something... is it necessary to be baptized to be saved? Which it isn't, but, that's just a clarification on my part... I forget the whole debate. I've forgotten cause I really never.. cared... wow...
BUt, that's the gist of it.

Isn't that kind of like asking "what's you're favourite essential mineral?" or "Which is your favourite parent?"

Those are totally different questions.

Not entirely. I think Josef means, in the context, that is't either hard to choose, or it just can't be done. I would say it is as hard to choose a favorite Bible book as it is to choose your favorite parent. I love both my parents (and if they ever spilt... Well, I'd clean the house for my dad, and I'd work all the time for my mom... so... let's hope they either DON'T ever break up, or I'm old enough to live in my own house if it DOES happen....)

Re: What is your favorite book of the Bible?
Mine is Matthew. The way he explains things is fanominal.

Proverbs is my favorite book of the Bible. It has many good quotes: condensed explanations of why we [should] do what we [should be] do[ing]. My current favorite is Proverbs 26:4-5: "Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit."
