Vote Results Results

As you can see, 60% want the board open while 33% think this board is finished. Well here is the final word. If the boards activity hasn't increased by September the 1st, I will close the boards. So if the 66% do their part, the boards may get to stay open.

I see. It will be interesting what will happen this summer. Perhaps you should give a history of TEP to remind us why we should stay. Smile

I started TEP as a way of helping others get admin and mod experience without being a noob get in the way. At first everyone loved the idea. Then things started going down hill. I am not sure what happened but people have forgotten what a great board this can be. We need to go back to that in my opinion. If you want be looked down on for being a noob that is your choice. Just do what you feel is best. I have done my part and I will now step back and see what you guys can do and what ideas you can bring to the admins.

This is what I wrote during the EP Reunion...

So hi you all!

This is a sorta review of the past... 8 months that the EP (Electric Palace) has been alive!
On September 11th, (believe it or not) Regis started the boards as a sorta experiment during the ToO election at the time.

The first to join were:

Regis
Danielle Abigail Maxwell
Jared DeWhite (JD)
Jellyfish11 (myself)
Peanut (Angel)
the sivart
Hannah (Hannahjiejie)

There was a lot of conflict on the ToO at the time during their Election, and members such as myself were quick to join the EP.
For the first "term", Regis (Founder) selected Hannah as his permanent assistant, and JD and I became the first Manager and Supervisor. Under Hannah and myself, much of what you see as the EP today was shaped and some fun Role Playing characters were created.

During this time more members joined such as KODY, Storm, Amy, SivartM and others from the ToO, both oldbies and not. Another election was held and KODY and Storm became the new leaders, and did a great job of incorporating fun things for the members, along with Hannah's brilliant updates and stuff. At this point the EP was at it's prime.

Another election was held, and DAM and myself became the new leaders. As unfortunate as it was, real life claimed the time of both Hannah and myself, and the EP started dwindling. Although we had a fair amount of new members join, including JIA and Top from the ToO, the EP was dieing.

And that's where we are now. Sure, this place is not what it once was. But it holds a lot of fun memories... *gets emotional*

Sure, we're mostly just a bunch of noobs who wanted our own board to play on. But in 8 months we accumulated 50+ members, 277 topics, and a total of 4886 posts. Now that's impressive!
