What effect on the campaigns did the Vice Presidents make on the different parties?

Re: Vice Presidents
Thank you.
On thing that I did notice, though, was the rock-star effect that Palin had on McCain's campaign. Obama has the same effect on his people, but when Palin came in, McCain's campaign jumped in the polls. Now, not so much.

Joe Biden WILL be able to step up if need be...While Sarah Palin WILL NOT BE! she has went from a small town city councill member to Vp cand. in 12 years!
Joe Biden has Been a sen. for 30+ years he has the credentials to be President!

Then wouldn't that mean she must have lots of skill and potential? If she gets promoted from a council member to vice-president candidate in only 12 years, that means she knows how to represent the people very satisfactorily! Senator Biden "has been a senator for 30+ years." And he hasn't been elected to a higher position yet? Does that say something about his ability? Staying in the same position for 30+ years means that he only does a mediocre job, not a superb job. Do you want a mediocre vice president?

You are probably right about Joe Biden, I only wish I could say the same for Obama. Sarah Palin has more experience than he does.

Woah, woah, is it me or did that sound very Bart Rathbonish???
I support the McCain Palin ticket though.

Promoted? Ummm, sorry, but you don't get promoted from the senate. You run for senate.
Also, Obama has been Senator for how many years? 2, right? Was he head of anything? Well, yes, some kind of committee, but he never (on record) held any meetings. Would you want him for your vice-President? In my opinion, he is the least qualified of all four p/vp candidates. I think that Palin is more qualified than he is.

Ah, ah, your missing something. Completely. I've met the senator from Oregon. Gordon Smith. If everyone will remember RIGHT, the state picks their own Senators. If Biden has been a senator 30+ years, that means he's doing A VERY GOOD JOB, and his STATE loves him. Or all the other candidates just can't cut it. I'm not saying that Biden has been the Senator of one state for 30+ years, but even if he's moved from state to state, everyone sees potential in him and likes him as a Senator.
So what I'm saying is that if Biden keeps becoming Senator, that's probably a GOOD THING.
Is it just me, or does everyone seem to miss the point a lot?
A mediocre president? Ha! Has anyone looked at Chenney in a while? He's not what we call a very good vice president. For goodness sakes, you wonder how he's stayed out of the news THIS long since he shot that lawyer! (I still have the NPR to PROVE it!) Biden would probably be a much better VP then Chenney, and if I'm correct, Biden is Democratic. Chenney is Republic. Hmm... Maybe it's time for the Democrats to be in Office for at least the next 4 years.. Republicans haven't gotten anything done in 8 years! Who says McCain is going to do ANYTHING? (He sure hasn't convinced me yet).
I'm all for Obama/Biden. They have much experience, they know what they are talking about, they would actually get something done, and maybe our country can get back on it's feet... we've been lagging for the last 8 years.... something has got to change....
JUST A NOTE: Palin was picked because McCain wasn't thinking right... there are reasons behind the pick.... MIGHT WANT TO LOOK THOSE UP. I cna't remember them all, but one had to be because she was from Alaska... hmm... I don't know... that seems kind of odd just to pick a person because of where they live.
Re: Vice Presidents
I actually think that Biden would be a very good vice president. My only problem is Obama. Biden himself said that he didn't think Obama was ready and that the presidents position is not a place for on the job training.
One thing that I don't like about Palin is she does not have any experience with foreign policy. This is something that I don't think is a good thing for Obama or Palin. If I were given the choice for who I think would be a better Vice President, I would probably pick Biden. However he also stands for things that I'm against so I would still prefer Palin, however the lack of experience.

Also, though Palin does not have a lot of foreign policy experience, McCain does. Obama does not, that is for sure. I would go Obama if I knew that he was going to step down so Biden could be in charge, because I think that Obama is the least experienced of them all (wait, did I already say that?).

Yes you have said that over and over...The thing is Obama came out of Law School and could have written his own ticket to wall street instead he decided to help people that were losing their jobs! The republicans want to discredit his years as an organizer! BTW He has been a sen. for 4 years and held positions prior to that. John McBush is going to give us 4 more years of George Bush I for one do NOT want that!

IMPEACH THEM ALL. THEY STINK.
And don't elect them into office.
And don't elect them into office.

Re: Vice Presidents
That is not necessary in a debate Rusty, if you want to impeach both of them, will you please give your reason. This way you can follow the debating procedure better.
Thanks
