Does anyone else do an Advent Calendar? In my family, an Advent Calendar is a display with a spot behind each day's door for a piece of candy. My family made our own. Instead of being too big, we have a flat one with a little sheet of paper inside with a Bible Christmas trivia question. Whichever child gets to open the day's little door must answer the question before he may eat a piece of candy.

We don't have a calender like that, but it sounds like fun! Do the trivia questions have to do with 'Christmas in the Bible' you know, Baby Jesus, Shepherds, Mary and the like? Or are they just general Bible trivia?

Christmas trivia-- such as "Why was Jesus born in Bethlehem and not Nazareth?" and "How many wise men were there?"

What did you guys come up with for the second question? From what I know, we don't know. But that's all I know, you could know more. Ya know?

Well, that question is actually a trick question. The Bible doesn't say how many wise men came to see Jesus. It just uses the plural, so we know it was more than one.

yes we normally think that there were 3 wise men but the bible never said how many there were it simply said ''the wise men''.

Actually, didn't it say "The magi"?

It seems like wherever we go we meet people who have the chocolate advent calendars. My 5 year-old sister now really wishes we had one of those.

They look like fun.
