I know that we already have this thread in the ToO, but this isn't the ToO, it's the TEP!

Re: Grade in School
I am not homeschooled, I am a Junior (11th grade), and I go to WWVA, a Seventh-Say Adventist Academy. But Rogers, the elementary school, is right next door, so, well, all pre-k through 12th is right in the same place...

That's cool! How do you completely skip a high school grade?

Well, that's what I did. I was a Sophomore last year, and no I am a Senior. We figured that I had enough credits to skip that grade, and we will be in China next year and... it's a long story. I probably would have to get a job of some sort for visa reasons, and this just worked. What is your reasoning Regis?

Well, I haven't skipped a grade, but I'm a year ahead. I think I was started early.

As I was cleaning some topics up, I realized this never was answered. I was in private school through the 10th grade. When I went to get things set up, even though I was supposed to be a junior, they could only count enough of the credits from the other school for me to be half a credit short of 10th grade. I took the smmer school course, was brought up to 10th grade status started the school year and was able to do enough to bring me from 10th grade up to a senior status.

Re: Grade in School
Sounds interesting, Regis!
I myself am homeschooled along with my two brothers and sister. I am in the 9/10 grades. Because I am homeschooled, we take our time to learn things. Instead of learning and being pushed on to the next level without fully understanding a concept, we learn as fast, or as slow as we need to individually so that we can full grasp a topic. It's also nice to have a say in what we study!
