Are you homeschooled?
Are you homeschooled? Broad definitions are accepted. If you think your definition is more unusual, please explain what you define as homeschooling.
I'll start. I am homeschooled, and I have been homeschooled all my life. I am now in 12th grade, and I use mostly BJU materials, with the exception of Saxon math. I use some of the BJ Homesat and LINC classes.

Re: Are you homeschooled?
I'm actually pretty sure everyone on this board is pretty much either homeschooled or has been at one time. But, I shouldn't make assumptions. Yes, I'm homeschooled. Have been all my life.

Re: Are you homeschooled?
SivartM, please try to use proper grammar. I understand this one use of stylistic poor grammar, but no more of it for a long time, OK?
What grade are you in, Siv?
What grade are you in, Siv?

Re: Are you homeschooled?
I've never seen him use that poor grammar before, he's usually pretty good. This was obviously a one-time joke!
Outrageous.
Outrageous.

Yeah, I wouldn't assume. I have NEVER ever been homeschooled (though Emily and Sara and Ryan have, for a little bit. they are back at it again though), and I've gone to an Adventist school my whole life. From 1st till now, since I'm in 11th grade. First went Laurelwood, the TVJA, and now WWVA. Loads of fun being in three schools my whole life... And I've never "officially" moved from the house I've lived in my whole life...
EDIT: I believe Siv is also an 11th grader like me. He's just fooling around guys. I've seen you ALL do it.

I'm homeschooled! Sweet! I use to do Saxon Math. What do you think of it?

Re: Are you homeschooled?
I really like Saxon Math. It is no frills to distract me. The black-and-white text explains how to solve a problem, then gives you twenty-five problems to solve. I am not required to read about ancient mathematicians that developed the theories- I only use the theories.

Hmmm, I would love to read about the ancient mathematicians who developed the theories before using them...

Re: Are you homeschooled?
Ha, I will be the odd man out because I NEVER, EVER homeschooled!!!
My significant other homeschooled 7th-12th grade.
We currently do not plan on homeschooling our children, though that would depend on the school district we live in at the time our kids are old enough to go, as well as what other possible alternatives that are available. I would homeschool my children before having them attend the local city schools, however we don't currently live in that district, and even if we did I'd prefer to send them to the private school I attended if its financially possible. I know a number of people who attended the public schools outside of the city limits here, they seem to be fairly decent schools, though not perfect.
Obviously this is something we will look into moreso once we have kids at all, and as they approach schooling age.
