What happened to the ToO?

Post  Smaug the dragon on Fri Sep 04, 2009 9:36 am

This topic may have already been started. I wasn't exactly sure where to put this. Call me obsessed, but I'm kinda wondering what's wrong with the ToO. RegisVille was gone too, so I had to join the only AIO site I knew... Bite me.

I've been wondering the same thing. Ever since the upgrade, they've been having more and more problems. IMHO, they should've left it the way it was. Yes, it would have been slow and whatever else, but at least we could access it.

Except that the old ToO also had some coding issues, outdated features, and various other problems including the fact that phpBB2 is no longer being supported. But when the ToO first started, it was very simple; they added MODs and other features to it slowly as they used it. But with this update they've had to add everything in all at once! It's hard to make it all work together when there are so many pieces and so little time to devote to repairs, so just be happy that it's not down more than it is!

And this topic belongs in Hal's Diner, so I'll just move over there.
